South American Synthesis Initiative for Tropical Mountain Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services
TROMBIOS answers the need for an inter-regional transdisciplinary collaboration among countries of the Andes Range and Brazilian Coastal Ranges to synthesize current knowledge on tropical mountain biodiversity and ecosystem services and to project global change impacts on transboundary social-ecological systems. The goal is to inform adaptation strategies and support long-term human well-being.
